About

Who am I?

I’m Judith Stafford a freelance commercial writer. I currently live in Chesterfield and work in the surrounding area of Sheffield and Derbyshire but also have clients in Bristol and Cornwall.

As a writer the tools of my trade are words. And words can be very powerful when used in the right way and ruin your credibility if they are not.  And this is what I do for a living – help companies to ensure their written communications are an asset rather than a liability.

My Background

I have over 12 years experience writing for businesses in online and hard copy formats. I have worked in a variety of businesses including software, engineering, marketing, insurance, complementary medicine and the voluntary sector. This has given me a good grounding in writing about complex subjects in a way that make it easy for the reader to understand. And I’m not fazed by new subject matter either. In fact I relish the opportunity to write about something new.

I also write articles for magazines and newsletters on subjects such as travel, health and fitness and cosmetic and country wine making as well as being the author of a number of successful EBooks.
